In order to begin a successful Holistic Loc Journey,
Your coils are 100% natural and free from damage.
You Avoid heat and any chemicals that could alter your coil pattern.
Your hair length is 3 or more inches based on your specific hair texture.

3 inches - Kinky Curly Hair
4 inches - Coily Curly Hair
5 inches - Curly Hair
8 inches - Wavy, Loser Curl

Decide if you want to start short, moderate or long?

Starting short, moderate or Long

Long - you have a longer length and want to start.

(You will experience shrinkage)
You also have the option to sharpen up with a chic’ hair cut and start with an edgy look.

Moderate - You want to grow your hair to a certain style or length before you start!

Start your Locs at whatever length you desire.

Short - Ready to start and don’t mind the short length? (most popular)

The Big Chop is recommended to remove any damaged hair if you currently have a relaxer, your textured hair has is damaged hair from heat or color damage that prevents your hair from coiling from root to end.
